Dr. Mark Stevens
Dr. Mark “Alex” Stevens joined Chelmsford Dental Associates in 2026. He received his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of California – Santa Cruz. While in dental school at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA, Dr. Stevens was in charge of the student-run dental clinic at the Riverside Free Health Clinic, as well as organizing fellow dental students to perform dental screenings for the Special Olympic World Games in 2015. He received the President’s Society Award for academic excellence and the Class of 2016 award for leadership and dedication. After graduating, Dr. Stevens completed a General Practice Residency with the University of Oklahoma working with the OU Children’s Hospital and the VA in Oklahoma City. He treated young children in a hospital setting, patients with special needs, and experience working as part of a healthcare team for children and adults with complex health and dental needs (ie. cancer patients, cleft palate seminars, emergency department, etc).
Dr Stevens practiced in rural New Mexico for underserved children and adults, and followed his wife to New England in 2019. They now live in Westford, MA and have one energetic young boy and three cats. He enjoys pickleball, running, and snow sports when it’s time to be outside, and an audiobook, card games or a cozy video game when it’s time to be inside.
Dr. Stevens strives for inclusivity; his goal is for patients to feel listened to, and to provide non-judgmental, high-quality care as comfortably as possible. He enjoys working with patients of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds - helping people get the care they need, and the smile they want.
